LIMEDIO User's Guide for Search via WWW
Introduction
- Library Information System LIMEDIO lets you search and browse library
materials via World-Wide Web (WWW). With simple clicks and typing, you can
search for information of your interest right at your computer.
Services
- The services currently available in English are as follows. See Menu Help for details.
- Password Change
- Book Purchase Request
- Document Copy Request
- Document Loan Request
- Request Status
- Help
- At the top of each page is a link to "Help" for the page. Clicking on
the link will take you to detailed instructions on how to use the page. Each
"Help" page may contain links to other "Help" pages as well to give you
quick access to related information as you go along.
Menu Help
- Select the service from the menu and click on the link. The descriptions
of each of the menu items are given below. For pages accessible from within
each service, links to the corresponding "Help" pages are provided.
Library Materials Search
- Books and journals can be searched by the specified criteria.
- Password Change
- Your password can be changed.
- Book Purchase Request
- You can request library to purchase a book.
- Document Copy Request
- You can request library to obtain a copy of a document.
- Document Loan Request
- You can request library to borrow a book/journal from another institute.
- Request Status
- Shows the current status of your request for document photocopy and loan.
